Supporting a child with learning differences isn’t just about helping them succeed in school—it’s about understanding how they think, communicate, experience challenges, and see themselves.
In this parent-focused session, Jake Sussman will explore ways to strengthen communication, build trust, and create a more collaborative relationship with your child. Parents will learn strategies for moving away from power struggles and toward partnership while helping their child develop the self-awareness, self-advocacy skills, and confidence needed for greater independence.
Jake will also introduce the idea of helping children find their “North Star”—understanding their strengths, interests, motivations, and goals so they can begin to take greater ownership of their own path.
