About the event

Financial Planning for Special Needs Families

Planning Today. Protecting Their Future.

Presented by Michael Beloff, CFP®, ChSNC®, CAP®, ChFC®, RICP®

Planning for the future can feel overwhelming for any family—but families caring for a loved one with a disability often have additional financial, legal, housing, benefits, and long-term support questions to consider.

What benefits might my child qualify for? When should we begin thinking about guardianship? What is a special needs trust? How do housing and state services fit into long-term planning? And how can we make sure the people supporting our child in the future understand their needs, preferences, routines, and wishes?

Michael Beloff will help families begin making sense of these important questions and understand the different pieces that can be part of a comprehensive long-term plan.
